5 Electrical interface
5.1 Electrical description
The CFAST CARD is connected with a standard 7 pin SATA connector and a standard 15 pin SATA power connector.
The signal/pin assignments and descriptions are listed in Table 11.

*) CDI This pin is connected to the card controller but currently not interpreted. The applied voltage at this pin
should not be higher than Vcc without serial resistance.
If CDI is not driven by the host, it should be connected to 3.3V.
CDO This signal is driven by the CFast card controller.
Cards produced after January 2011 have CDI connected to CDO, but still connected to the controller.

**)LED1 is the drive activity pin, it drives the Status LED low (LED on (idle), flickering (transfer))
